St Ninian's such a beautiful place and only 5 miles from where we live

The skies are also superb, i love a walk in winter when there are only a couple of folk on the beach

The new Windfarm

The Viking windfarm is now complete and will be fully operational from April next year

It is certainly not green with the amount of concrete poured into the hill side, the amount of peak removed and the distances the component have been brought and then transported

Micro fibre plastics are already coming off the blades and into the water course, not good to drink

Tourists are already saying its an eye sore and that they have destroyed one of the last wilderness in the UK

This is just the start with other wind farms approved in Yell, between Lerwick and Scalloway

Also a long chain of turbines are planned out at sea to the east which will affect bird migration and whales
